Located 1.8 km from the centre of the popular tourist resort of Ayia Napa, the 350-metre long beach of Pernera sits between the beaches of Vathia Gonia and Katsarka.
The northern part of the beach is covered in fine, golden sands, whilst the western part is rocky, due to the picturesque peninsula that is formed there. Its crystal-clear seawaters are relatively calm.
A pedestrian path runs along the coast and links the harbour with the beach of Vathia Gonia. Towards the west, there is the opportunity to hike near Markronissos beach, whilst the interesting archaeological site of Makronissos Tombs can also be easily accessed.
Access is easy by foot, bike or car, and there are car-parking facilities.
